It is of course important that businesses have good fire protection to make the workplace safe and secure for staff, visitors, customers and the environment.
Fire can have serious consequences for everyone staying at a workplace and work materials and buildings can be destroyed. The Act on Protection against Accidents places a great deal of responsibility on the employer, e.g. by taking and paying for measures to prevent and limit damage in the event of fire. Companies and organizations must work systematically with their fire protection regardless of business, size and risk. Fire protection should also be documented. This policy addresses general parts that need to be ensured.
